I'm sure this has been discussed many moons ago, but I couldn't find it. We have users running Notepad on Windows who have problems with the plain text grade export files because the lines are terminated with a newline and not the carriage return and newline it wants. Replacing the "\n" in the grade_export_txt.php with a "\r\n" seems to create a file that works with Notepad as well as not breaking other apps. I'm sure there's a good reason we don't just change the character, but I'd love to hear it so I can pass it on to my users.
