I would like to trigger the word cleaner whenever the user pastes content in the html editor.

how can that be done ?

I'm using moodle 1.9

Probably take a look at the Tiny MCE forums, for information about how to run custom javascript events. 

This isn't so much a Moodle issue, because it uses a plugin for the rich text box.
