I downloaded Moodle 1.4.4.zip to my laptop and then used WS FTP pro to upload the single zip file to my Yahoo web host server. How do I unzip the file on the web host server so that I can get to run the install.php file, run it and create the config.php file. Will I have to set up the SQL database '? I'm starting to think this is beyone my skill level and that maybe I should change my web host to a company that will just do this for me. Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

Ok---- UPDATE---- I unzipped the moodle 1.4.4.zip folder and uploaded the expanded files via ftp to the Yahoo web host. Now I'm trying to run the install.php file. So far so good. I will report back when I know more.

Now I'm trying to set up the database and am faced with the following instructions:
"Now you need to configure the database where most Moodle data will be stored. This database must already have been created and a username and password created to access it."
Type: mysql or postgres7
Host: eg localhost or db.isp.com
Name: database name, eg moodle
User: your database username
Password: your database password
Tables Prefix: optional prefix to use for all table names
How do I create a username and password to access the database?
