Darren Smith states in Best reference for describing a metacourse: The mantra is "Metacourses take their enrollments from other courses."
In my opinion, having metacourses reflect ALL enrollment scenarios -- including expiration date -- is part of the logic of this ENROLLMENT plugin. Thus, "suspended status sync" should not be viewed as an improvement request but a discontinuity in the enrollment functionality.
