I am playing around with creating "marking guides" feature so that I can suggest it to faculty at my work. By accident, I created a marking guide, linked an activity to it, and then deleted the activity first before deleting the marking guide.
Now when I try to access the guide I want to delete by creating a new assignment, clicking “Create New Grading Form From a Template”, selecting the template I want to delete and then clicking the "delete the currently defined form", I can see the delete confirmation prompt but when I go back to check if the marking guide still exists - it is still there, and not deleted.
I am able to delete the marking guide if I delete the guide first with the activity link still on the course page. But if I delete the activity first and then delete the guide afterwards (from the advanced grading options) I can still see the marking guide when I do a search and can still use the template. It's as if the template can never be deleted.
Is this is known bug?
