Does it happen when you are logged in as that instructor? You need to narrow this down. A white page is normally indicative of something not working right but I have seen them show up in one browser and not another. You should see if he has a different theme loaded or some kind of activity or block that other teachers aren't using. It would be wise to turn on debugging to see what errors are being thrown.
