first I have to say thanks for the new OU question types - I can use them very effectively.
I would like to write a question which contains more Pattern Match questions as subquestions. Is there a way to make a request for such a question type?

Well, you can ask for such a thing. You just did, in your post above. However, we have no plans to work on such a thing.
If you really want it, you could ask Jamie Pratt (who did the pmatch question type for us) to give you a quote for developing it.
Thank you for your reply, but unfortunately we are not big enough to hire Jamie Pratt and we have lack of knowledge to develop that by ourselves. We still use Moodle 1.9 as a living system with regexp module and Cloze question type, and hope that we can upgrade some day.
