i´m new to moodle.
First thing I´m struggling with is how to hide iItems like "My Profile" or how to hide the members list. The only thing members should see are the actual captures of the course.

In case you need a solution for Moodle 2.x, just have a look at what Justin Mastic suggested in "Remove items from navigation block." I like it.

Thank you Hartmut, of course hiding elements via CSS is a solution, but I would prefer to get them out of the DOM. Do you or anybody else have any further information?
