New iPad app

New iPad app

Hi,

I'm a Moodle newbie and I'm doing research with external human-computer interfaces to use for e-learning. I'm designing an app for iPad that works with this external hardware, I would do a standalone version but I'm exploring the possibility to create a Moodle client optimized for my hardware and able to manage the data that acquires.

My question is: is Moodle iPhone app open-source and if so is it possible to modify it to achieve my goals? Or shoud I develop a new client app from the beginning? Is it my approach right?

Thank you

Marco

Yes, the iOS code has been released by HQ to the community as they are now moving towards a HTML5 approach. That thread however has an incorrect download link.

If you want the source code for the iOS app you can grab it from the official MoodleHQ repo here - https://github.com/moodlehq/mymoodle
