I just wanted to draw your attention to some really cool open source application called Webnote. Check these links:

Before you say, why bother?, we already have a wiki module, check these URLs carefully and consider the author's answer to a similar question in his site's FAQ:
"# Why don't you just use a wiki?
I use different tools for different types of notes. For me, a wiki is good for collaboration and organizing lots of text (with hyperlinks), but bad at visually organizing ideas on one screen."
Sure, this would not be a priority in Moodle development but I certainly think something like this could be a nice and useful addition. Additional emphasis on the collaborative nature of Moodle as a LMS.

Yes!! This is also something like "mind-map".
It would be nice if we have mind-map activity in moodle. I think it's modern teaching.
