Moodle 2.3 Beta

Looking at the Moodle downloads page early today I saw no sign of Moodle 2.3 (except the developer pack at the bottom which has now been removed).

 

However during the course of the day we now have:-Moodle 2.3 beta . We are told that this is "Beta version of incoming Moodle 2.3. Not suitable for production sites. Only for testing and development."

Is this the "expected 18th June " release of Moodle 2.3 - if so when will it be out of Beta and ready for our production site.

 Has any one any idea of when we can expect it - I can't see anything in Moodle News.

Hi Keith

Yes i saw this as well as I was hoping to upgrade my development system today, but it looks as though final release has been pushed back to next week according to the Tracker

Ah well, I'd rather have it next week and bug free than this week and crash my site! smile

It's fine for testing.  The remaining issues are almost entirely cosmetic.
