hi

recently I was trying to translate custommenu and its item to other languages

thanks to Sam Hemelryk I was able to make it work perfectly:

the other task I'm working on it now is to figure out how to translate cources names...

is there any way to do so or this is still unavailable?

Enable multilanguage filter for CONTENT and HEADINGS, it should work, as I wrote in one of my posts regarding myCourses Block.

But there are still some cases left, where you can not translate using the multilanguage tags. I found a translation utility somewhere in these forums...

thanks for all your suggestion that I get benefit of them to make my cource contents multilingual, but what I want actually is to dispalay courses names and categories names in multilanguages, if you can help me in doing this.

That's no problem at all, as I said. Simply read the multilanguage tag Moodle Docs. Then use NORMAL WEBFORMS in your Profile-Settings, NO HTML-Editor to type things like English Cat or Course Name As the Headers offer only ONE LINE of text, you must place all this in one line.
