hi ,

i am using Moodle 2.0.2 (Build: 20110221) for my website and using a theme which is suitable for websites ,now i have installed the mymobile theme for moodle when i select the mymobile theme it also effects the theme which i am using for my website , how can i use both mobile and website theme for moodle , if a user open moodle from its mobile then automatically mymobile theme should display to him, and if some user open moodle from computer or mac then he should see the theme which i have selected for it.

please help me as i am new to moodle , alot of thanks in advance.

Hi there. You need to have Moodle 2.1 or later to be able to use a different theme for mobiles and for regular computers I am sorry. http://docs.moodle.org/21/en/Theme_settings

Hi Mary, I am using a Moodle Partner which has recently upgraded to 2.2.  In the course settings I don't see the 'Enable Device Detection' option described in the page you posted above.

That setting is in Settings>site admin>appearance>themes>theme selector, not in the individual course settings.

Am I correct then in assuming that I have to ask the host company if they have this set?

No -you don't need to ask the host company; you just need to ask the administrator of your Moodle - which is usually someone in the establishment and not the host company.
