We are looking at options for creating an assessment database which will be used to store and manage assessment questions in a 4 year medical school. The assessment items contain all the normal types and Moodle covers this quite well. The majority of the exams will be paper based and Moodle will be based to store the questions, and support the creation, editing, approval and use of the questions.
My questions are:
- can we search through a question bank based on the TAGS that are applied to the questions?
- what is the easiest way to produce a paper based exam based on a Moodle quiz
What other systems might be used to manage creation, approval, use and archiving of assessment items and support assessment blueprinting e.g.
- 10% questions examine topic A 25% on topic B ...
- 25% knowledge 40% application ....
