I have a strange issue with some users on Moodle 2.2.2+ not seeing Book resources in courses. For example, in one course we have:
- a label
- book 1
- review quiz 1
- book 2
- review quiz 2
Most users see this. But some see:
- a label
- review quiz 1
- review quiz 2
I've even viewed the HTML source with one user's browser and the books are indeed not even there. Even stranger, this particular user COULD see the books when we checked a week earlier, when we first heard reports from another user that he couldn't see them.
It doesn't appear to be a browser or extension issue, as the HTML code doesn't list the books, and I had this user try with a different browser altogether with the same result.
Has anyone else seen this issue, or know how to resolve it? Failing that, is there anything I can do to track down the cause?
