Does updating from 2.0 to 2.0.8 make any changes to the database file?

Does updating from 2.0 to 2.0.8 make any changes to the database file?

I need to go back to an earlier version, so I'm currently manually restoring the old Moodledata folder and files.

I also need to know whether I should empty the cache in Moodledata, and if so, how?

Thanks.

The only way you can "downgrade" is to restore a previous version from the backups you hopefully have. This means both the database and the moodledata files (and the Moodle code, of course)

I'm not sure if this answers your question. You should not need to do anything other than that.

Ok, then I need to restore the old database file also. That's what I wanted to know. Thanks.
