I would quite like to know how I can make things appear as an 'activity' in the 'course overview'. At present the following things will appear if I set a due date for them:
- Quiz
- Lesson
- Offline activity
- Advanced Uploading of Files
- Online Text
- chat
I really want a workshop session to appear there too but it refuses to do so no matter what I do with the submission dates.
I've tried creating calendar entries and though they appear on the 'events' list, they do not appear in the "course overview".
The reason I want it to appear there is that my students seem to have got used to just clicking on whatever appears in "course overview" on their "my Moodle" page to know what to do for homework. Yes, they could navigate to it manually but I want to make it easy for them so I reduce the number of "I couldn't find it" excuses.
