Moodle Auto-Format

Good to be here today at last, I have been trying to find help and never got one.

I use Moodle as a student with South African Theological Seminary and I have a problem with formating. When I want to make a post, the thing switch back to Moodle auto-format even when I try to change that to HTML or other, where I can see the rich text on top of my post. What can be the problem and how can I recover it?

By rich text I mean this editing tool here with (Bold, Italic, Underline, Text alignment) and so on. It does not appear on my post when I am using my account with SATS mentioned above and no one can help me solve this problem....

Hi John

Have a look at your profile setting 'When editing text', choose 'Use HTML editor'. You find the settings in the 'Settings' block.

Thank you for the reply,

I did that many times, but it just jump back to Moodle auto-format. But when replying to you now, it is fine and I can use any format I want like (Bold, Italic and more) but not on my SATS account! I asked my adminstrators and they referred me to Moodle and that is why I found myself here.

Any other option apart from this? I waill appreciate your help.
