Hi Moodle Folks!

For Moodle 1.9.15. It's a hack, not a whole module workover.

Moodle 2.2 version on the way.

Hi Paul. I tried to tackle the 2.2 code the other day. It's different from M1.9. So I beat a hasty retreat. Tell you what, I'll give it another go tonight. Wish me "luck"!

Hi Paul,

you may want to try the version at It was developed against 2.0 but it could work with 2.2, too.

Hi David

the stamp collection module itself seemed to install OK. It was the multi stamp "hack" I was intersested in. Hope that makes sense.

Hi Paul.

Tried it. Defeated by code again. Sigh. A real toughie. I am stumped by the code in renderer.php that looks a bit like pix_url("defaultstamp","mod_stampcoll");

For example, if I changed "defaultstamp" to "goldmedal", and uploaded a gif file named "goldmedal.gif" the image of the stamp appears broken.  So I am stuck for the time being. The code by David looks very clean, efficient and well-written (hats off to the Author), but I can't, for the life of me, see a clear pathway to modify the code as I did in Moodle 1.9 version of the SC module. Will re-attempt again this weekend. God-willing I will see the light.

Frankie

I know all Moodle users appreciate the effort you and the developers like David do for this community. That's all anyone can expect - if it happens, terrific. I'm sorry I can't contribute anything much.

I suppose this is something you've already looked at, but, have you run the problem by David? The block works in 2.2, and he may have the intimate knowledge to attain the work around you require.

Again....thank you
