Hello. I am developing a quiz more as a learning than evaluation tool, and would like students to be involved in its development.

Is there a way to comment directly on quiz questions? That way, by previewing each individual question, the student can give pinpointed suggestions on ways of improving the question.

I beleive taking a  regular survey after the quiz won't yeild such specific feedback.

I don't think there is a way to do this. I don't think Jamie Pratt's Question Creation module has been updated to work with Moodle 2.1+ yet (or indeed 2.0), otherwise that might be worth a look.
