Hello,


Has anyone had an issue with course menu appearing without editing buttons and also in two places?

It seems that this issue appears under the following conditions:

Adding the course menu block to the course then moving it from the right hand column to the left hand column without any other blocks on the right hand side.

If we add other blocks on the right hand side, it seems to cover up the course menu block and it will appear as it should on the left hand side. If there are no other blocks then the course menu block will appear on the right hand side (as well as the left hand side) and there is no way to remove it except cover it up with other blocks as the editing buttons (delete, edit, move in directions) are not available.

This is occuring under Moodle 1.9.14

Hi Keroleen,

I could not reproduce your scenario in a Moodle 1.9.x environment.

In order to be able to help send us information about the following:
  • Operating system name and version
  • Database name and version
  • PHP version* Moodle version (2.x)
  • Course Menu version (check in version.php
  • Theme used
  • Steps to reproduce the bug
  • Send a few screenshots

...i can only reproduce this with selected courses.

It started just before the weekend and there has been no upgrades or anything on the system.

PHP version: 5.3.3

Apache 2.2.3

Course menu version: 2007092000

Theme: Custom theme

Hi Keroleen,

We have updated the Course Menu block for Moodle 1.9.x. Please uninstall the version you are running, make sure you delete it from your blocks directory. Install the latest version and hopefully it will solve your problem.
