Can we add attachments in wikis?

Can we add attachments in wikis?

I was going to use the wiki activity module for a collaborative teaching experience but it doesn't look like we can add attachments to wikis in moodle 2.0. Is this correct?

If so, I am wondering what would be the best activity module to use for this purpose: it is an area where the moodle teachers on our moodle site  can come together and share feedback and build teaching resources. I would like to be attach forms etc... for them to be able to download.

Thanks!

Hi Bronwen,

You should be able to add attachments in wikis.

1. Create a new wiki

2. Create a new page

3. Add attachments from the 'Files' tab

Kind regards smile

Adi

Hi Adi,

The tabs I have across the top are: View, Edit, Commnts, History, Map

The wysiwyg doesn't seem to have an attachment button.

I must be overlooking it. Can you direct me?

Cheers, Bronwen

Can you confirm you are using Moodle 2? Teachers can  display files by clicking in the hyperlink icon in the text editor and uploading them there
