I am somewhat new to moodle have used it over the years on and off but have recently had a teacher try to use the chat module with a class of 30+.
Students started to recieve an Error database connection has failed.
There is a SQL connection limit of 20 users.
I am running moodle 1.9.11
I know I am needing to upgrade and will do shortly. I was wondering does the chat keep a constant connection?
I do not have shell access to the server at this time.
Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. I have searched around but am having a difficult time finding current posts relating to the chat module.
