I have just ordered the book, Learning Design, which came out Feb 9th (see below). If anyone else would like to study this together, please order it and respond here. I think we could do a one chapter a week format, say mid March to May. We could ask Martin to make a separate course for us. What do you think?

There has been good interest in the Learning Design Book Study, and Martin has opened a course for us to begin our study. http://moodle.org/course/view.php?id=44
Please go there and if you have the book, or are ordering it, you can enrol by going to the "Why are you interested in LD?" forum and posting your response in the format I have done.
There is no fee for this course, but if you like it, you may wish to donate $50 to moodle.org. Mention in the donation box that you are investing in future cooperation/compliance of Moodle and IMS-LD. Of course, donors will receive a supporters button in the mail from Irene.

Wonderful, Chris. Since you have already led such online book studies, could I ask you to guide us? My thoughts til now are ...
I also thought we might make a group document (using Wiki) to summarize each chapter. What do you think?
- set a weekly reading assignment
- assign each person to make at least one forum comment per week, on implications for Moodle
