I have just ordered the book, Learning Design, which came out Feb 9th (see below). If anyone else would like to study this together, please order it and respond here. I think we could do a one chapter a week format, say mid March to May. We could ask Martin to make a separate course for us. What do you think?

There is no fee for this course, but if you like it, you may wish to donate $50 to moodle.org. Mention in the donation box that you are investing in future cooperation/compliance of Moodle and IMS-LD. Of course, donors will receive a supporters button in the mail from Irene.

I also thought we might make a group document (using Wiki) to summarize each chapter. What do you think?

Don, what one can get out of this community never ceases to amaze me. I'd like to participate in this as well. I was planning to read this book but doing it in group and have discussions about it will be way more productive and fun. So, I'd like to be added to the list.

Amazon still lists the book as "This item has not yet been released", neither does Barnes & Noble have it in stock.
I suspect that getting it from Europe would take a while.

Yes, I understand the library bureaucracy. It could take 3-6 months. We can either do the book study again this summer, or you can join along by reading excepts that we post on the site.
