I am converting a block developed for 1.9 to 2.0. This is my first experience with Moodle development so forgive any blunders, obvious or otherwise.
(attached pic, top) There is a link in the "Course Date Manager" block that takes the user to a page to edit all dates related to all the activities for the course. When I click on the link, I'd like it to open in the main content area of the course in the same window with the theme and all the blocks remaining as they are. However when I click on the link (see attached pic, bottom), it changes theme and all previously visible blocks disappear. I've tried to search for this in the forums, but I don't really know what to call this issue and therefore search for it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
