Do you get some kind of JavaScript error?

I checked the following, and your JMix exercise displayed OK (see screenshot):

  • Moodle 1.9
    • QuizPort module
      • viewed in Firefox - OK
      • viewed in Chrome - OK
  • Moodle 2.2
    • HotPot module
      • viewed in Firefox - OK
      • view in Chrome - OK

In other words, I cannot reproduce the problem from the information you have given.

Please supply more detailed information:

  • what version of Moodle
  • what Moodle module
  • what version of which browser

thanks
Gordon

Hello Gordon

did you upload the file to your server?

The problem appears only when a file is uploaded to the server.

Yes, I uploaded the fIle to my server, and there was no problem with the display of the quiz. You are welcome to upload your quiz to my server. If you can reproduce the problem there, I will gladly investigate. Gordon

Please do these two things, so that I can investigate the issue on your server:

  • install the latest version of QuizPort on your server, and initiate the upgrade procedure by logging in to Moodle as an admin and going to Site administration -> Notifications
  • make me an editing teacher in the "אנגלית עסקית - Bussines English" course (id=63)

thank you
Gordon

Which version of which browser do have problems with? Have you tried any other browsers? Have you tried uploading the quiz yourself to my site and checking it's behavior there? Have tried to find out whether you get a JavaScript error in your browser when the jmix/jmatch doesn't display?

Gordon

P.S.Please note that my name does not have a "e" on the end of it.

James,
in my previous message to you I wrote ...

But in your next message to me you wrote ...

> Hello Gordone

My name is not spelt Gordone. My name is Gordon.

1. Open the Chrome JavaScript console, then view the page you are having problems with and report what you see in the console.

3. You can log into my server here:

James,

I tried accessing a few of the QuizPorts on your site using my Chrome for Windows (v 15.0) and the exercises displayed OK and behaved as expected.

I noticed that because you are trying to add navigation buttons to the footer on your site, some of your QuizPort and Glossary pages have a double footer (see attached screenshot). You might need to refine the code that inserts those footers.
