I've released a 'Test of Unconcious Identification' Moodle module under a GPL license. I was commisioned to develope this by Timothy Takemoto and it is built to his specification.
The Test of Unconcious Identification is a psychological test. Tests of this kind are really big in psychology right now. This module was inspired by the 'Implicit Association Test' of Anthony Greenwald and Associates of Harvard University.
Intention of the The Test of Unconcious Identification in a Nutshell : For years psychologists have been asking people to respond to written questionnaires but the problem is that questionnaire responses are filtered by the conscious mind of the subject. Measuring and comparing reaction times as we do in the Test of Unconcious Identification we can tap into the subjects unconcious. We bypass the conscious filter of the subjects. Implicit Associations Tests are like lie detectors. They can even tell you what you do not know yourself. For example, do I like Japan more than the UK? If I'm not sure how I really feel I can take an implicit association test and find out my real feelings about this.
There is a more thorough explanation of the test in the TUI documentation also available on my site.
You can see various examples of tests, and some documentation on how to make your own tests written by Timothy Takemoto, on my 'Test Drive' site. Also you can find the GPL licensed module code available for download on the same site and a course backup which includes all the example tests which you can restore on your site after having installed the software. This Module is tested on Moodle versions 1.4.3 to 1.5 developement version and works fine. It should also work on older versions of Moodle.
There are some grammatical mistakes in the tests and the documentation still needs a little work but the module works well and the test examples should give you an idea of what can be done with the module.
