Peculiar display issue (left side chopped off)

I've set up up a Moodle course for one of my classes, via moodlehub. Just now a student emailed me to tell me that the site was not loading correctly for him (on multiple computers). The attached file problem.png is a copy of the the screen capture he sent me.

I've been unable to replicate the issues; noproblem.png is what I see. I've suggested the student try different browsers, but I'd also like to get to the root of the issue. Does anybody have any ideas?

The site is at http://www.groupwriting.moodlehub.com/ if anyone would like to try to replicate the issue.

Further analysis reveals the problem is with Internet Explorer 6. Is there any way I can work around the issue, or should I just tell my students to stop using 10 year old browsers?

I think that's going to be the easiest option.

It looks to me like a problem with CSS, it might be possible to add a bit of code specific to IE6 that corrects it.  I notice from his screen shot your student also has non english characters, that might be part of the problem too.
