I have installed Moodle, and everything seems to be working great, except if I create a student activity where they can either Upload a Single File or Upload Multiple Files, the upload fields just don't show up at all - the module just comes up with the text I put in and that is it. Any ideas?

There is another report on problems with uploading files in this build so it might be a general problem.

Justin - just to confirm this is a definite problem - can you confirm that you tested this as a real student or with a real student account and NOT with the "switch role to" which doesn't give a true picture of the situation?

Actually, you are right. When I log out as admin and log in as student I can see it accurately. Do you think there is a way to fix the preview situation?

Glad it works -to be honest - the "switch role to student" has never been a reliable method of previewing and whenever possible I would try to use real student. See FAQ 13 here http://docs.moodle.org/20/en/Roles_FAQ

We are also having a slightly different issue with student uploads to an assignment. Instrutors are not receiving notification when the file is uploaded (like not for days). Then there is the problem that the instructor comments on a paper and returns it, but the instructor does not see that it has been re-uploaded....the student does.
Same version/build.
