My students are in groups and I want to set up a poll where they rate their group members each week. Is there a way to make polls available only to a specific group. In other words, Group A sees a different poll from Group B? Or alternatively each student sees different polls?
Is there another way that I could achieve this?

You can place your groups into groupings to achieve this. Groupings allow you to restrict the visibility to certain groups. Note that you may need to enabled Groupings at site level (via Experimental or if using 1.9) for this functionality to appear in your modules. Don't worry about the 'experimental' heading for this, we've been using it very succesfully for years with no issues
