Hello,

Is there a way to restric the file type (the extension) for a specific Assignment in a Advanced uploading of files?

So far as I know you cannot do that with the Advanced Uploading assignment type but if you are using Moodle 1.9 and install the Peer Review assignment type, you can restrict the file extension type with it.

Hi Jean-Luc

I have had this request from a staff member and have found a tracker item which appears to have patches for 1.9.2, 1.9.4 and 2.1.  I haven't tested these as we use 2.0 so I suggest (as with any third party module or patch) that you install this on a development site to fully test it before implementing.  

If it works well for you it would be good to hear.  I will add it to my list of 2.1 things to check out smile
