Hi,
Im looking for personal opinions to compare with my own, about what you consider to be fundamental to reality (Its for a school assignment)
A plumbline. Absolute truth. Something to be measured against to tell us if there is a deviation or not. No longer is it a question of what seems right to the person, but rather a question of a true standard to compare other things to it. Otherwise we will end up with a "if it feels good, do it", or anarchy. If this makes sense to you then great. If it is vague, then check it out with Amos, my good ole' friend.
Hi Ben. What sort of reality? Is this about, for example, physics, history, psychology, philosophy or religion?
Helloooo.. I think that some fundamentals or principles to reality are:
reality is always changing , moving.
reality is interconnected ( with everything else), (interconnects everything in a whole)
reality is inherent (self-contained)
hope is useful.
The reality is that .... change is the only constant.
The reality is that ... life's a climb, but the view at the top's great.
The reality of life is that ... after all the striving and achieving of a lifetime, the only land that a man needs at the end of his life is a plot of land 6'x3'x6' deep.
