How to host a Moodle

Hi!  I'm totally new to Moodle and know nothing of networking, so my question may, in fact, be easy to answer.  I'd like to host my own moodle site, and by host I mean I would like to share my Moodle class with others without going through a central location, in other words, use my own computer as the central point from where my class originates.  I've been told that if I install and then do a re-install I can share the class with others, but I don't understand these instructions.  Can anyone tell me if I can even host my own Moodle so that I can share my class with others.  Thank you.  Marjorie

You would have to host it online through a hosting provider, such as GoDaddy, Bluehost, Network Solutions, Hostmonster, etc. If you only have Moodle installed on your computer, other users would have to sit at your computer to use your Moodle.
