can I search within the database forum here in Moodle.org?

I don't want to search within all of the forums, just within the database forum.

Hi Lane,

That's possible using the forums' "Advanced Search" feature (http://moodle.org/mod/forum/search.php?id=5&user=&userid=0&forumid=0&subject=&phrase=&words=&fullwords=&notwords=&dateto=0&datefrom=0&showform=1 ) the link to which unfortunately is only available after performing a normal search.

You might also have a look at http://docs.moodle.org/dev/Firefox_tracker_search#Firefox_search_plugins for another approach to a more focused search in the Moodle forums.

Inside any forum click the Search forums button (not to confuse with the Search moodle.org button) with the search box empty and this will open the advanced search form. smile
