Greetings - I executed my first backup and restore to create a copy of the course for our summer session. In Restore I used the Deselect all for all of the student logs and assignments - but in accessing the new course I see all the students from this term and all of their logs. We are using Moodle 1.9.9. The course did have a large amount of images and course content. All of the content, quizzes and images appear to have copied with no problem. Any thoughts on why this happened? Should I uncheck each item instead of using the Deselect All at the top of the page?
I also wish to ask in restoring a course with a large amount of files is it better to restore it in chunks instead of the all the files in one step? Is it possible to restore a course in chunks such as transfering all the text files in one copy and then copying all the images? Thank you for any help and insight you can provide. Nancy K.
