What do you allow in students permissions to view the Site News Forum in the site's main page?
Having trouble allowing students to view discussions in the Site News Forum like the Site admin.

Good Morning Travis!
I actually had to deal with this issue within the last few months. I found that to allow users to see the "News" section on the front page, you must overide the role to allow: mod/forum:viewdiscussion
