hi, i hate to be the one to post the stupid question but;
i request that moodle be added to my web site via my hosting company and am looking forward to developing a questionnaire. i read in the module's Installation procedure http://moodle.org/download/modules/ that i should download the zip file of the desired module to my moodle/mod directory but have been unable to locate it. is this the right route to install the questionnaire module??
i tried adding mod to the end of the web address;
http://www.eventslab.net/moodle/mod/
but got this message;
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /moodle/mod/ on this server.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Apache/2.0.46 (Red Hat) Server at www.eventslab.net Port 80
probably some easy solution but it's a stumbling block for me at the moment.
thanks in advance

Shane...
You need access to the files on the server itself. This is not a change you make via the web interface.
On my server the Moodle directory is located in /var/www/html
The web address is http://academies.culver.org/moodle
If you have ssh access to your server and a Windows machine, you could use WinSCP or similar to move files.

Hi,
The mod folder is there - one can see that by going to another mod url like http://www.eventslab.net/moodle/mod/forum/- but you need to use an FTP client (like Filezilla) or web based control panel like cpanel to access it and copy the questionnaire mod files there.
Hope this helps,
Tim.

hello again. i found the moodle/mod directory and have placed the zip files there. my hosting company has told me that he has added an automatic unzip function to my account.
i'm stuck at what is probably a very basic hurdle. the files are in the my sites admin directory but i cant access them in the moodle admin. how do i complete the installation process?? i'd be happy to send admin rights to any one with a munuite to take a look.
thanks in advance
