CANNOT ADD ACTIVITIES TO COURSES

Can anyone help? I really do not know what might be wrong. I deleted the quiz I had created with GIFT and started over thinking I could rebuild because it was not letting me add questions to the quiz.

I am trying different things to try to add activities such as multiple choice and essay questions to my courses. I am unable to add anything.   When I click on create a new question it jumps back to the front page of the site.       I am using 1.9.11+

Turn on Debugging to see if you are getting any error messages.

Follow these steps How to check your database for corruption to eliminate that possibility.

The Moodle docs server is currently down, so those links won't work. It should be back some time tomorrow after they have finished rebuilding the server.
