Google Docs files are damaged

Google Docs files are damaged

We have enabled Google Docs repository plugin for Moodle 2.0.2+ and everything works accordingly. But, when we use the File picker with anything and select one of our PDF documents from Google docs we receive the following error when we try to open within Moodle:

The file is damaged and could not be repaired.

We have a similar problem with Word documents, with the error:

The file 'blah' cannot be opened because there are problems with the contents. The file is corrupt and cannot be opened.

These documents open OK within Google docs, has anyone else had the same problem?

Thanks

Ali

Hi Ali,

I just tested a PDF and a Word file (.rtf), and both opened without a problem.  I am using the lastest 2.02+.  I used Word 2010 to open the rtf file.

I'm not sure if we do this right but it works - I create a page and hyperlink directly to google docs!

My PDF files open fine.

There is a google docs bug which prevents some PDF files from opening. Doesn't the file picker select a file to download as opposed to open?
