Hi Eric, did your site have the 'Site administration/Users/Enrolled users' link? which is the issue Im having.
If so, how did you:
"we ended up solving the problem by performing a new clean installation of a separate instance of Moodle 2 on our production server"?
I have days worth of work invested in our instants of Moodle and I don't have time to repopulate it.
