Hi,
I have managed to get my moodle visible to the outside world , http://212.248.244.28/moodle
However if from the outside world you click any links it fails to work as they point to a private ip 10.132.53.212.
Can anyone suggest where I need to alter this in moodle as it has been a while since I installed it and my brain in like a seive!
Thanks
Reg Phenna

Hi Reg,
You may be able to advise me. I had moodle visible on the internet, but I was on a dial up. I have since gone broadband, and acquired a static ip address. However, the address is for my wireless router. I reckon I must configure a pinhole in the router to point at moodle. Problem is, what port number do I use? I guessed at 80, but the router wouldn't accept it.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Matt
Hi Matt,
I'll be honest and say I don't know.
i am installing moodle over a network so I don't have to twiddle about with broadband routers.

Hi Reg,
Thanks anyway, I got sorted. Was able to point my router at the private ip address of the machine where moodle was installed, and now all is visible on the internet.

Matt
