Hmm, the size of the box is simply the number of letters in the answer. I suppose the browser calculates how much space it thinks is required for that many letters using the font it thinks is necessary and makes the box that size. Unfortunately, the box seems to be the wrong size in this case.

Could you upload the quiz to my server so I can have look in more detail?

Both the html and project file (jcw) look ok to me: that is, the longest answer ('pharmaceuticals') fits into that box on mine.

As I said, it looks OK on my computer:

(There may be a way to add some extra space, but I don't work much with jcrosses -- they don't seem to me to be worth the effort.)
