Hi everyone - - I looked at all the postings in these forums but could not find the answer.
I attempted to install the certificate module without success.
In simple format and plain english can you help??
I uploaded, I unzipped, and nothing works- - do you upload through Moodle or directly on the server??? I'm Lost!!!
I'm running Moodle 1.9.9
I'm having the some difficulty with 1.9.10+ (Build 20110112). I SSH'd into the server and did
wget http://download.moodle.org/plugins19/mod/certificate.zip
Upzipped it to the location specified in the install guide, then followed the instructions. I see 'Certificate' in the table under Module > Activities > Manage Activities, but I dont see any way to configure the certificate, assign it to a course or anything like that.
I'm tearing my hair out here - any pointers?
After installing, enter a course and click on the add activity combo box. The certificate should be listed here. Selecting it opens the editing form for this new particular certificate.
Play around with the form fields, then click save. The certificate should now be visible in the course content page.
With all your help and a little deeper reading - - it WORKS!!!!!
