Question Sets/ Multiple Quizzes

Question Sets/ Multiple Quizzes

I am looking for a way to give a student a new set of 30 questions for each failed attempt (Grade lower than 70%)

For example, if the student attempts the quiz for the first time and passes, then the quiz is complete.

However, if the student does not pass, they should attempt the quiz a second time, but, the student would receive a new set of questions.  No duplicates.

Is there a method to do this?

Hello,

I am in search of an answer regarding giving a unique set of questions for each failed quiz attempt.

I came across item MDL-6340  (force unique/unseen questions in quiz retakes).  I new to the process and know its says unresolved and looks like its in the queue to be done.

Does that mean there are no alternatives to accomplish unique questions in each? Or could there also be other solutions that exists as well?

Thank you for your help in this, I under pressure to provide a solution

If the quiz contains fixed questions you can have two quizzes with unique sets of questions. If you use random questions you can set up two question categories, one for each quiz. Then you can use conditional activities (Moodle 2.0) or Activity locking course forma (1.9.x, plugin) to control access to the second quiz. hth smile

Thank you.

Yes, your suggestions sound great!

I will look for the plugin, as I am using 1.9 currently (the update is scheduled soon though)
