Unable to prevent autolink in quiz answers, 2.0

Hi,

In a quiz, using 2.0, I noticed that several key words in question answers autolinked to the glossary, which obviously I don't want.

I disabled autolink in the activity filters, then cleared caches, then went back to see what had happened. It made no difference.

As we cannot use the prevent autolink option for answer text, (you can for the questions but not the answers) I'm a little confused as to how to prevent autolinking when it's not wanted. Or how to stop autolinking. Why doesn't the filter work?

Does anyone have any suggestions? Is this a bug (that disable filters isn't working)?

This is to confirm Brian's finding that the filter : Glossary autolinking OFF feature does not work for Quiz questions.

I tried to go to tracker to log this but for the past 2 hours the tracker site has been inaccessible, at least from here in Italy.

This is odd. I don't understand why it is not working. It should.

MDL-24996 and MDL-25885 are reporting the same behaviour.

My experience is that this issue is not specific to quizzes, but generally that turning off the glossary filter for individual activities/resources does not work. I tried it with a page resource and the linked entries remained.

Linking stops in all activities and resources when it is turned off at the course level however. Oh, and I changed to the standard theme to remove that from the equation (didn't think it could affect things but you never know...) and the behaviour remained the same.

I have just tried it with other activities and resources and it appears to work with choices, forums, and lessons, but not with pages or labels so the issue is not as widespread as I have previously indicated.

I think that MDL-24996 is the underlying issue, but the fix needs to be applied all over the place.
