Shifting to GIT

Shifting to GIT

Just a non-developer CVS user checking in.  I set up 2.0 to work with CVS with some help from a friend, merely to update a tiny insignificant little Moodle server when I need to.  I do understand I can keep using CVS.

However, I assume eventually I should shift to GIT?  ie the CVS solution to upgrade from is just interim?

I've done a quick search for info, but as Martin said it's the inbetween time.  Sometime, when it's right, just point me to a docs.moodle page (preferably only one and written in English) say the word and I'll shift to GIT.

THANKS

I expect the CVS server will be maintained for several years at least.
