The only thing (a small thing) that leaves me uneasy is that phrase "virtual education". I sort of thought e-learning or virtual education died five or ten years ago. I live in a world of blended learning where the lines between face-to-face and online are so fuzzy, I find I am often doing both at the same time. Also, I feel uncomfortable with the word "traditional" because it carries lots of negative baggage. How about just saying "face-to-face"?
I like to say there are many new face-to-face technologies emerging now, as well as electronic ones. The other day I went to workshop on "near peer role modeling" and another demo on "fast pair switching" (a communication tool of two lines of people standing and switching partners every two minutes). Kind of like speed dating. And hardly traditional.
