I'm using moodle 1.9.9 in a Solaris 10 server X86 Architecture, my php version 5.2.13.
After course restoration the HTML entities get broken and look like this:
I have checked the libraries like libxml but can't solve this problem.
the libxml2 version is 2.7.7

but in my phpinfo shows 2.6.31
