Viewing Certificates in a secure moodle site (https://)

My moodle site is a secured (https://) site. I can run all of my links - Scorm, quizzes, etc. in all browsers, with one exception:

My certificate module will not open certificates - download, viewed in Internet Explorer. I am using Internet Explorer 8.

The certificates open fine in Firefox and Chrome.

1. I have tried viewing in compatability mode.

2. I have deleted browsing history, etc.

3. I have set the browser to default in the tools / advanced tab.

4. I have disabled all add-ons.

5. When the link opens, it is blank if opening in a new window, or says that the file cannot be found if in the download mode.

6. I have other PDF's that download fine.

7. I have been to Microsoft's website and have followed the instructions on troubleshooting viewing a secure site.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same issure some time ago.

When I recall correctly, then it could be solved, if some caching parameters are changed on the webserver.
